Exposome Austria Days 2025 – Building Bridges Across Disciplines

The historic pictoresque town of Horn was buzzing with ideas and excellence science as Exposome Austria gathered for its 3-day retreat and an open-day symposium. From analytical chemistry to epidemiology, from cancer and Alzheimer’s research to policy and mass spec industry, participants from over 20 countries came together to explore how environment and health are intertwined – and what we can (and should) do about it.

5 highlights that stayed with us:
 

  1. New methods, applications and pilots presented by their authors, plus user reports from customers already using Exposome Austria infrastructure and technologies.
  2. Frank discussions on moving from silos to an integrated exposome approach.
  3. Dedicated workshops & poster sessions giving early career researchers a visible platform and valuable first-hand feedback.
  4. A memorable cultural program at Rosenburg Castle – guided tour and wine tasting creating a cosy setting for relaxed networking.
