Utrecht and especially the historic Bartholomeus Gasthuis, a care institution dating back to the 14th century, witnessed three days of focused meetings in October 2024.
More than 100 experts from Europe, the USA, and Asia attended this combined event for two major exposome initiatives: the EIRENE infrastructure and the IHEN project (International Human Exposome Network). The gathering aimed to unify exposome stakeholders, explore ways to enhance global coordination, and strengthen research infrastructure and support systems.
The organizers are now consolidating the insights and outcomes shared to create a roadmap guiding the future of exposome research. Interested in contributing to the this initiative? You may join here: https://lnkd.in/djhYT92f
